“We had a great week in St Ives. The cottage was in a perfect location, close to all beaches and Fore Street. A lovely cottage with a quirky layout, comfortable beds and sofa. It was lovely being able to open the bi-fold doors and enjoy the outside space. Super handy to have a parking space too.”

“We had a wonderful one-week stay at Artists Cottage in May 2025. The cottage has rustic charm and is cleverly designed and full of character, spread over three floors (or four if you count the little reading nook tucked away at the top). The cottage has a warm, homely seaside feel and made an ideal base for exploring St Ives. The location could not have been better; just a one-minute stroll to the main street, yet nicely tucked away down a peaceful side lane. The private, outside decked area was a lovely space to relax in. While the lower level could benefit from some cleaning and routine maintenance, it still provided a welcome spot for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening drink. The allocated parking is just a five-minute walk away up a hill; manageable for us, and typical for the area. It was very convenient to have parking so close to the cottage and town. During our stay, some nesting seagulls made their presence known at night. It is part of the St Ives charm and certainly did not stop us from having a lovely time Communication with Cornish Escapes was excellent throughout; any questions we had were answered swiftly and helpfully, which made everything smooth and stress-free. All in all, we really enjoyed our time at Artists Cottage and would definitely recommend it.”

“Absolutely stunning cottage with lots of home comforts and thoughtful touches. Loved the little bag of goodies on arrival, and our daughter loved going up to the reading nook in the loft and looking through the childrens books. The cottage is located on a beautiful cobblestone street, only a stones throw away from an incredible bakery (which we used for breakfast pastries every day!) it was lovely to have extra touches (like brand new coffee pods) waiting for us on arrival. We had the most relaxing week here and will definitely be rebooking in the future.”
