Overview
The principal entrance to Artist Cottage is via traditional granite steps to the first floor and leads into the carefully planned kitchen/diner. The kitchen is equipped with gas hob, electric oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. The bespoke dining table ensures the lay out is great to cook and enjoy fresh local produce. Take a few stairs up from the kitchen into the sitting room with TV and DVD player, the room gives a sense of light and space having a vaulted ceiling and bi-fold doors to the balcony and courtyard garden.
The main bedroom is a few steps up from the sitting room and has a king-size bed and adjacent shower room with wash basin and WC. There is a quiet nook in the attic which is perfect to read a holiday novel and enjoy a glass of wine. An attractive wooden spiral staircase leads from the sitting room down to two further double bedrooms on the ground floor where there is also a second entrance to the property. Bedroom two has a double bed and door out to the courtyard with the third bedroom having two single beds. The family bathroom on the ground floor has a shower over the bath, wash hand basin and WC. There is also a utility cupboard on this floor housing a washing machine and freezer.
Outside in addition to the first-floor balcony the cottage has a sunny courtyard with a side access, a real bonus in ‘Downalong’. The outdoor shower is handy to wash off the sand after a day on one of the nearby beaches.
